Education Chapter Chat Book Club!
So much to read, so little time…
I don’t know about you, but I always have many books on my education “to read” list. There is so much good information out there, and I always appreciate learning about books that resonate with me. I wish there was more time in the day to stay on top of it all!
Well, good news! I recently learned of an amazing new podcast called Education Chapter Chat Book Club hosted by pediatric SLP’s Michael McLeod and Cari Ebert. They started Chapter Chat this past summer and meet each Monday evening on IG Live where they discuss one chapter from a book they are reading together. They enthusiastically plug away at important titles, one chapter at a time. So far, they have read How Children Succeed, Finnish Lessons 2.0 and Most Likely to Succeed. I was hooked after listening to their most recent conversations on Most Likely to Succeed. And, I’m happy that I can imagine myself keeping up (one chapter per week, I think I can do that!), or if not – learning what I need to learn by simply listening to them talk. Their conversations are both fun and interesting, and I highly recommend joining the conversation to anyone interested in being inspired by discussions of educational reform - or as they describe it: “Discussing literary nuggets related to optimal childhood development and education reform.”
I would have loved this podcast anyway, but am also thrilled and grateful that they have chosen Declarative Language Handbook as their next title to discuss. Thank you!
You can find their weekly talks on IG @cariebartseminars, or on Spotify and Apple podcasts under Education Chapter Chat Book Club.
Have a great week!
