A Guiding Mindset

A special parent group in Vancouver recently reached out to me to learn more about declarative language. I did not have to think for long to agree to this wonderful opportunity! Enjoy this clip from week 3 of our 8-week Declarative Language Workshop. I discuss a 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭, which is essential when communicating in a declarative way.

In our workshop, we combine formal learning with video reviews. Parents complete assignments, and we use part of our time together to review their videos, troubleshoot, answer questions, and expand upon what they are doing. I am loving it and appreciate being part of their learning journey.
